New name, new look, same great content

Apparently, noob has some negative connotations that I was unfamiliar with when I settled on the name NoobVapers. I had initially just wanted to provide decent information for those wanting to start vaping... for newbs, apparently, not noobs. Oh, well... Urban Dictionary to the rescue.

After much searching and thinking and pondering and designing, I settled on ControlledCoil. It appears to me, as I approach one year cigarette free, that the coil is the most important part of a vaping setup. If it's too low, the battery can be damaged. If it's too high, the vape quality suffers. If it's too thick, it will take a long time to ramp up. If it's too thin, building can be a real pain in the... well, you know... Temperature control is also become a big topic, and coils for TC mods are far more finicky than standard Kanthal coils.

So a controlled coil or being in control of the coil is essential for vaping, and I would like this site to become as essential as the coil it references. Not gonna happen, I know, but I'd like it...

I'm also getting up enough nerve to start some YouTube reviews. It appears to me that the only way to get traction in the field of vape reviewers it to have a YouTube channel. Sad, really, that the written word (properly spelled and laid out in an orderly fashion utilizing appropriate grammar) has so fallen in favor.

But, that will be enough of that whine... In the next few days, I'll be posting my first YouTube review...

What would you like to see? Let me know in the comments or by email...
